The Maison St. Charles hotel is comprised of
Antebellum homes along with modern buildings surrounding
New Orleans-style courtyards of which all of our rooms
open to. One of the courtyards feature our courtyard
lounge including Billiard Room Chez Pierre Bar and
Bistro. Each room offers coffee service satellite TV with
remote and Room Service through the on-site restaurant
laMadeleine French Bakery and Cafe'.
The Maison St. Charles Avenue Streetcar runs at our front door
making transportation not only easily accessible but a
true New Orleans esperience. Within walking distance from
the Central Business District; French Quarter; Louisiana
Superdome; New Orleans Arena; Ernest N. Morial Convention
Center; Lee Circle Arts District; National D-Day Museum;
Louisiana Children's Museum and the Aquarium of the
Americas. They offer complimentary shuttle service to the
New Orleans Convention Center; French Quarter; CBD;
Harrah's New Orleans Casino; and Riverwalk. Limo Service
is available
Modern in every detail many buildings nevertheless date back to
a time when life was a bit slower; more genteel; and not
quite so demanding. Then there was a deep appreciation of
lovely surroundings; well-kept gardens; a certain sense
of style and an attentive level of service. Some building
of the Maison St. Charles are listed on the US Department
of the Interior's National Register of Historic Places.
**Housekeeping services will be offered on Tuesdays Thursdays
and Saturdays. Additional towels are available at the
Front Desk. Self-parking is available at a daily rate fo
$14.98. LaMadeleine Restaurant has not reopened therefore
room service is not available. However there are many
resturants in the immediate area service breakfast lunch
and dinner. The bus operates on this Route from 7AM-10PM
and the Canal Street streetcars are running. Taxi cabs
are available.
